Beef up your braai skills and come hungry with family and friends to The Red Table restaurant at Nederburg in celebration of Heritage Day (aka National Braai Day), on September 24 at 12:00. 

 

Book your braai barrel at R220 per head for adults and R95 for kids, with The Red Table providing top-quality meat and seafood, as well as side dishes such as salads, vegetables, traditional pap and sheba (tomato and onion relish), as well as dessert.  If a DYI braai is not your thing, The Red Table chefs will handle the grid on your behalf, but please indicate so when making your booking.

 

Home-baked flatbread with hummus, basil pesto and baba ganoush will be served as a starter. Soft drinks and a wide selection of Nederburg wines will also be on offer at very reasonable prices. Children’s entertainment will also be provided. 

 

The best braaier of the day will win a generous wine prize from Nederburg.

The Nederburg Visitors’ Centre will be open for wine tasting and sales from 09:00 to 17:00 on the day. Take advantage of the centre’s September special offer that includes a complementary red apron, valued at R100, for the purchase of six bottles of any of the wines from Nederburg’s Heritage Heroes connoisseur range.
