August will see the likes of Dax Martin, David Tlale and many many more exciting designers showcase their work. But until then Durban can look forward to many other  events that will serve as pre-cursors to the main event.

Sindi Shangase, Business Support Program Manager for the eThekwini Municipality Business Support, Tourism and Markets Unit, which supports the Durban Fashion Fair, said:  “Like our city, Durban fashion is hot and happening so we’ll be participating in and will even help create a number of fashion events in months to come. We’re going all out to showcase our city’s design talents and create interest around the Durban Fashion Fair which is expected to give new talents a step up onto the catwalk and emerging talents greater exposure to both new and existing markets,” she said.
