So whether it’s the garage, or the basement or a spare room in the house every man should have a space he can call his own…Be it a “Man Cave” or just a small sanctuary for dad to relax and unwind and shout at the tv to his hearts content.

There are only a few essentials to this space:



1. A TV – the bigger the better
2. A comfortable couch (the one that you will have destined to the dump, that’s the one he will prefer)
3. A fridge – whether a little bar fridge or a nifty glass door modern

one won’t matter, just so long as it keeps the beer cold.



The room should contain all the things he needs to make him comfortable, so whether he’s a computer nerd or a playstation geek or he loves playing cards with his mates…the room must reflect and give him the space to indulge his whims.



So though dad can have his space it doesn’t have to be grungy or totally out of place with the rest of the house, it just needs to be HIS space….that means NO flowers, no finicky ornaments that need dusting , and NO pink.
