Do we need to buy a completely new wardrobe to stay on trend?

Although there are few things more rewarding than retail therapy, I say “don’t do it!” One focus point during my consultations with clients is that high fashion is short lived and expensive!
My job is to help you to discover your unique fashion footprint. Simply introducing the trend into your overall wardrobe is ideal; mix it up with what you already have! This ensures that your personality shines through and you retain your individuality while enjoying the current trends.
It is one thing to be caught wearing the same on-shelf item as someone else....but it is quite another if you have managed to “pull it off” in your own unique way.
To begin with it is important that you get the basics right.
These are items that will remain timeless, and can easily transform to keep in line with upcoming trends from season to season.
The concept is that you create a capsule wardrobe. This allows for quick and easy outfit decisions, and better yet… is an inexpensive way to add to what you already have.

Look at your wardrobe critically (using the above list) and take out what you do not need then add a few good, key pieces.
Base your wardrobe on the colours that suit you, and then add to that palette in neutrals…and always…. buy the best quality that your budget can afford, as this will ensure that you get the maximum lifespan out of each garment.
